We are a Las Vegas-based technology productivity firm specializing
in computer training, technical writing, technical curriculum
development, computer applications training, grants development, online documentation, and online surveys and evaluations.
Our company was started as The Human Resource Group in Rancho
Cucamonga, California in the early 1980's to do contract human
resource development and technical training for early microcomputer
systems. The business quickly expanded to include grants
writing for municipalities in Southern California for technology and
training grants. Grants and proposal writing for non-profit
organizations focusing on improving the matriculation and retention
of minority students in higher education was added soon after with
several clients receiving substantial awards from the Fund for the
Improvement of Post Secondary Education (FIPSE). Our Plain-English documentation approach
to complex issues has made previously troublesome technical material
more understandable than ever for the non-technical person.
This has been our success cornerstone.
Our founder, Emerson E. Holliday,
M.Ed. is a veteran trainer, grants writer, documentation specialist,
and leadership development expert who
has developed training programs for a wide variety of industries for
over twenty years.
As one of those rare computer professionals who can communicate with
human beings as well as with computers, he has settled on
computer/technical training as the perfect arena for his balanced
blend of technical and communication skills. He has assembled a team
of skilled technical writers, quality improvement specialists,
master certified trainers, seasoned educators, and excellent grant
researchers and writers. Together, our enthusiasm for people
development is evident in every class that we teach.
