Emerson E. Holliday is founder and
Senior Technology Consultant for Blue Street Communications. He holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Maters of Education degree
with emphasis in Curriculum Development and Learning. He has advanced
work toward a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Bowling
Green State University and he is currently
completing his doctoral studies in Organizational Leadership and
Management in the School of Business at another university. His experience includes key executive and leadership positions in
business, government, and higher education.
In
business, he has had direct responsibility for designing hundreds of
training and new technology deployment curriculums for large
corporations such as Sierra Health Services, creating and
managing new
product marketing campaigns for technology firms such as Strategic
Services Alliance, facilitating over 1,000 management development
seminars for Fortune 500 companies, and organizing hundreds of major
conferences for large non-profit associations such as
the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA). His
latest projects include developing an international training curriculum
for Cendant Corporation and serving as part of the
Microsoft IT Messaging
and Collaboration team responsible for the internal deployment of
the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Exchanger Server
2007 to over 90,000 employees worldwide.
In
government, he served as the State Elections Officer for Colorado where
he drafted state legislation, oversaw general elections, and the
implementation of the Motor Voter laws in Colorado. He is the Founder
and first Executive Director of the National Association of Minority
Students and Educators in Higher Education (NAMSE).
He has over
twenty years of teaching and leadership experience in higher education
at institutions such as the University of
California at San Diego, Califronia
State University
Long Beach, California State University Los Angeles,
University of Colorado, and South Dakota
State University.
This experience also includes service as a Vice President at San Diego
Mesa College. |
