contingency, commission, or percentage of award basis. Our fees are based
on the following:
Flat
Rate Fee Schedule
For flat rates
with a fee less than $2,000, payment in full in advance is required. For flat
rates with a fee greater than $2,000,
lasting 59 days or less, a 50% deposit is required to start work, with
the other half due prior to release of the final work product.
For projects greater than $2,000, lasting 60 days or more, a 50% deposit is
required with an additional 25% due at midpoint, and the final 25% due at
project completion.
NonProfit Grant Writing
Fees for
most grant writing assignments range from $1,500 - $10,000, depending on the
complexity of the proposal and the length of time we have to complete the
assignment.
For-Profit Grant Writing
Fees for
writing SBA and other small business grants and proposals
range from $2,500 - $10,000, depending on
the complexity of the proposal and the length of time we have to complete
the assignment.
Foundation/Corporate Giving Proposals
We will
complete a comprehensive search of a database of 25,000 foundation/corporate
giving sources for a single project concept; draft a foundation letter
proposal; and prepare applications to the five best sources identified in
the search for a fee of $2,500, or the ten best sources for $4,000.
Grant Source Research
Customized
grant source research is available for any project concept. This may include
keyword searches of databases of federal grant programs and 20,000
foundation/corporate giving sources, as well as telephone surveys/Internet
research of state and local government sources. The fee usually ranges from
$5,000 - $3,000, based on the project concept and scope of the search.
NonProfit
Incorporations
For $1,000
- $2,500, we will
complete all paperwork necessary to establish a new nonprofit corporation in
your state. This includes articles of incorporation, by-laws, an application
for state tax exemption (if applicable) and an application to the IRS for a
501(c)3 letter of determination. Please keep in mind that you will be
responsible for filing fees, which cost approximately $600.
Editing/Technical Assistance
Complete
editing of client prepared proposals, as well as technical assistance, is
available on an hourly basis. The hourly rate is $150 per hour, with a
four hour minimum payable in advance.
Program
Plans
We will
draft a program plan for such contract service providers as group homes,
child care providers, foster family agencies, substance abuse treatment
providers, etc., for a fee ranging from $2,500 - $10,000, depending on the
complexity of the assignment.
For-Profit Business Incorporations
For $400, we will complete all paperwork to establish
a new LLC or corporation ("C") in Nevada. This includes Nevada’s one-time filing fee,
same day preparation of articles of incorporation
and by-laws, our one-time service
fee, and one year of registered agent service. You receive a Certificate of
Incorporation/Formation, customizable bylaws/operating agreement
within 24 -48 hours of receiving of placing an online order.
Managed Services/Retainer
Agreements
Under a
retainer arrangement, a monthly retainer amount is set, usually in the $1,500 -
$4,000 range. We are available to conduct grant source research, alert you to
grant opportunities, prepare proposals and provide ongoing advice and
consultation through our "800" number or via the Internet. We will keep track of
hours worked with hours billed at a 20% discount from our standard hourly rate.
Hours not used in a given month will be "banked" for use in future months. The
retainer is due at the start of each month and there is a three month minimum.
The hourly rate is $150 per hour.
Not-to-Exceed Agreements
In this
approach, a mutually agreed upon not-to-exceed amount is set to complete an
assignment or provide ongoing assistance. This type of
arrangement is usually exercised as an alternative payment arrangement for
managed services contracts. There is a $15,000 minimum. A 25%
deposit is required, with fees billed monthly on a time and materials basis,
according to our hourly rate schedule. The deposit is retained until billings
reach 75% of the not-to-exceed amount, at which time hours are billed against
the deposit. The hourly rate is $125 per hour.
Expenses
Expenses for
related project costs are billed at cost, plus 15%,
and include such items as overnight delivery service, copying and production of
submission documents, travel as required to fulfill the
contract.. While Blue Street Communications usually works
electronically, if a client prefers an on-site scoping meeting, travel time and
estimated expenses will be billed in advance. |
